3 Days Masai Mara Adventure

Day 1: Nairobi - Maasai Game Reserve

Pick up after breakfast then depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve, drive past the Great Rift Valley escarpment across the Savanna countryside through Masai commercial town of Narok arrive for afternoon game viewing.

Maasai Mara Game Reserve is home to “Big Five”: Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino, Lion and Leopard. It has a variety of animals and birds species. Other animals also found here are: Antelope, Hyena, Wildebeests and cheetah among others.

Day 2: Masai Mara Game Reserve - Full day

Morning and Afternoon game viewing carry lunch boxes.
Drive to the Mara River to see the famous migration pattern. Later on, visit Masai village in the afternoon for a poignant cultural experience of the local people’s traditional life.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Nairobi

Early morning game drive return to the camp for full breakfast; leave the Mara after lunch to arrive in Nairobi late afternoon.

Itineraries

Day 1

Time : 8:00 am

Nairobi to Masai Mara

Leave Nairobi at 8am and drive down the Great Rift Valley across the Masai Plains to Masai Mara National Park. Game Drives and Lunch en route.

Day 2

Time : 7:30 am

Masai Mara - Wildlife Viewing

Full Day Wildlife Viewing in this Famous Wildlife Park.

Day 3

Time : 6:00 am

Masai Mara - Nairobi

Pre-breakfast game drive then return to the camp for breakfast before departing for Nairobi, which is reached in the early afternoon.

The Masai Mara National Reserve is widely known and celebrated as the 'Home of the Big Cats'. It is renowned for having the highest concentration of big cats, not only in East Africa but worldwide, delivering exceptional big cat (lion, leopard, and cheetah) sightings as well as unforgettable big cat encounters.

The Maasai Mara National Reserve is home of various biodiversity to over 1,000 different plant species and over 1,000 different bird species. It has a wide range of animal species such as lions, cheetahs, buffaloes and giraffes. There are great game viewing opportunities in Maasai Mara National Reserve

The Wildlife Sanctuary is the northern part of the world-famous Serengeti-Mara animal migration that has been referred to as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. In addition, the Mara ecosystem supports the highest concentration of wildlife in Kenya.

The best time to visit Masai Mara National Reserve is during the Dry season from June to October. At this time, animals draw near to rivers and waterholes and vegetation is thinner, making wildlife easier to find and to see. This is also the costliest season as thousands of tourist flood in to see the Great Wildebeest Migration amid thousands of other diverse wildlife species.
