14-Day Kenya Tanzania Safari Adventures explores six of East Africa’s finest national parks. The trip starts in Nairobi and ends in Arusha! This small Group or Private Safari, takes you from Nairobi, Kenya to 8 other destinations in Eastern Africa. It includes accommodation in luxury hotels as well as the services of an expert tour guide, all meals on safari, transportation and park fees.

Day 1: Arrival and Welcome Nairobi
Arrival and Welcome Nairobi. Pick up from Airport and transfer to your Nairobi Hotel for dinner and Overnight at Ibis Styles Nairobi Westlands Hotel for Bed and Breakfast. The located in Westlands an upmarket part of Nairobi city, 4km North West of the City Centre. Greenery and serenity defines this area, dotted with contemporary architectural designs hosting residences, offices, shopping malls and hotels.

Day 2: Nairobi - Lake Nakuru National Park
You will be picked at 730hrs by our tour guide/driver and immediately depart for Lake Nakuru via Great Rift Valley to arrive by mid-morning. Check in at the lodge and have lunch. Afternoon game drive is at 1530hrs. Scenic Lake Nakuru is Kenya’s most popular national park. The park’s main feature is a large, shallow lake supporting great birdlife, including big flocks of pelicans and variable flocks of flamingos. ·

Day 3: Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha
Early morning game drive and return to the lodge for a full breakfast. After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru National Park to Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch at the Naivasha Kongoni Lodge. Afternoon you will have an option of doing boat ride around Lake Naivasha or visit to crescent Island at an extra cost. Also, this afternoon, you can decide to relax around the lodge as you enjoy lodge amenities.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara National Reserve
Have an early breakfast then depart for Masai Mara to arrive for lunch at the Lodge. Have lunch then relax. Afternoon game drive at 1530hrs until 1830 hrs. in search of Big five and luckily you might see leopards hunting that afternoon because they are very active during that time.

Day 5: Masai Mara National Reserve - Full Day
Spend this whole day with game drives in search of the big five and many other wildlife that inhabits this beautiful Savannah plain. There will be picnic lunch in the course of the day. Optional activities: Hot air balloon with an extra cost of $490 per person or visit to Masai village with an extra cost of $20 per person.

Day 6: Masai Mara North National Reserve
After breakfast, depart with your lunch boxes to the park. You will proceed on with your game drive towards Mara North which is considered to be the wildebeest migration corridor. You will check in at the camp later in the evening. This will reduce the time to travel from Mara to Serengeti and maximize the chances of seeing the migration in the northern corridor.

Day 7: Masai Mara National Reserve - Serengeti National Masai Mara National Reserve - Serengeti National Park (Isebania border)
Have breakfast then enjoy a game drive till mid-morning when you depart for Serengeti passing through Isebania border. Carry packed lunch with you from the lodge because you will arrive at the park past lunch hour. Our guide on Tanzania side will be waiting for you at the border with 4×4 land cruiser to pick you up. Have a game drive as you enter the park and later drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Serengeti National Park
This whole day, have breakfast then depart for a full-day game drive carrying parked lunch with you. Enjoy searching for wildlife in this vast Savannah land. Picnic lunch will be served at lunch time. Other days you can decide to do an early morning game drive before breakfast. Thereafter, return to the lodge for breakfast. Rest entire afternoon enjoying hotel amenities then depart for an afternoon game drive until 1830hrs.

Day 9: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater - Karatu
After breakfast, then have a final game drive with the Serengeti Park. Carry packed lunch with you and depart for Ngorongoro Crater to arrival late afternoon. Arrive in good time for an afternoon game drive from 1530hrs to 1830hrs. The Ngorongoro Crater in Northern Tanzania, once a gigantic volcano, is the largest intact caldera in the world. Some maintain that before it erupted, it would have been higher than Mt Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. Today, long since having collapsed and eroded, it is an extensive highland area with the famous 600 m deep Ngorongoro Crater as its focal point. Nearly three million years old, the ancient caldera shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens on earth.

Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater - Tarangire National Park
Pick up at 8:30 AM from your hotel in Karatu and depart for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full day game drive. Tanzania’s third largest National park is known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. The Tarangire River is the centerpiece of this park which is famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Here you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, Oryx, eland, giraffe and zebra. Post the game drive, you will head back to your lodge where a delicious dinner awaits you.

Day 11: Tarangire - Arusha National Park
After breakfast, we drive to Arusha National Park arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. After lunch we will proceed to our game drive in the park. There’s nowhere else on earth that the transition between a pristine mountainous landscape and a bustling city landscape is as abrupt as it in Arusha National Park. Tucked away in mainland Tanzania, this protected park is largely dominated by the imposing Mt. Meru and wears the crown of the ‘most topographically dynamic and beautiful wildlife parks’. Not only does it shelter the Ngorongoro Crater but it is also home to the planet’s largest population of African giraffes.

Day 12: Arusha National Park - Amboseli National Park
After breakfast at the lodge, depart with picnic lunch boxes to the Namanga border. Clear customs and immigration formalities then join our Kenya tour driver and proceed to Amboseli. You will have lunch en route. Once you arrive at the park, you will enjoy a game drive. Look out for large herds of elephants, lions, leopard, gazelles, wild dogs and the magnificent view of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Day 13: Amboseli National Park
Full Day explore backdrop of Kilimanjaro at Amboseli National Park. This day you will have a full game drive within the park. Spend this with morning game drives after breakfast till lunch time. Return to the lodge for lunch at 1300hrs. Relax by the pool after lunch. Start an afternoon game drive from 1530hrs-1830hrs. Amboseli National Park - A scenic park in its own right, Amboseli is synonymous with two particular things – majestic herds of elephant and glorious views of Mount Kilimanjaro in neighboring Tanzania. Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya's most popular parks.
The name "Amboseli" comes from a Maasai word meaning "salty dust", and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. They can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture.

Day 14: Amboseli to Nairobi
In the morning pre-breakfast game drive then back to the lodge for breakfast and check out. Depart and drive back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. Drop off at your city hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International airport depending on your choice. This will be end of our great East Africa safari.
