3 Days Tsavo Wildlife Safari, 3 Days Tsavo Wildlife Adventure, 3 Days Tsavo East, Tsavo West Wildlife Safari. A tour of the vast Tsavo National Park, seeking out the diverse wildlife that make up the biodiversity of this park. This exciting 3 days safari explores the best that Tsavo National Park has to offer the visitor. We see the best of two of the biggest game parks in Kenya with a wide range of wildlife spread over diverse landscape enjoying the best wildlife encounters, in the backdrop of stunning and panoramic vistas. The birdlife is also prolific and varied. This 3 Days Tsavo Wildlife Safari begins in Mombasa and ends in Mombasa.
3 Days Tsavo Wildlife Safari Itinerary
Day 1. Mombasa – Tsavo East National Park
Your safari driver cum guide will arrive at your pick-up point before pre-dawn. Thereafter, you’ll hold a short trip briefing just to make sure that you are aware of all the nitty-gritty of your 3 Days Tsavo Wildlife Trip.
Depart from your hotel at 0530 hrs and drive along the Mombasa – Nairobi road to the Tsavo east national park. Enter the park via Bachuma gate. Game drive after entry in search of the big five. Visit the famous Aruba dam, where lots of wildlife can be seen. Later, drive to your lodge / luxury tented camp for check-in and lunch. An afternoon game viewing drive is scheduled later in the day.
This relaxed game viewing drive shall take us through big game trails for the best possible experience. Enjoy magnificent views of the African sunset from the jungle. Dinner and overnight will be at a lodge / luxury camp.
Day 2. Tsavo East – Tsavo West
We shall be up before the sunrise for a game drive before breakfast.
The splendor of an African sunrise that engulfs the savanna shall be experienced as we traverse this vast park in search of the early grazers and hunters. We’ll be looking for Lions, Elephants, Buffalo, Giraffe, Leopards, Cheetah, and many more. And, the park is also rich in bird-life.
Breakfast will be followed by a check-out and drive to Tsavo west national park. We’ll experience wildlife viewing on our way to the lodge/tented camp for check-in and lunch. An afternoon game drive will follow later and will include a visit to Shetani lava flow point, which provides an excellent distance view of Mount Kilimanjaro (Africa's tallest mountain) with its snow capped peaks.
Tsavo West National Park is not only best for Rhino viewing and stunning landscapes but also has higher chances of spotting Leopards. This afternoon game drive will include a visit to Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary to try our luck in spotting this heavily built Mammals.
Continue with our enticing wildlife viewing journey before retreating to our Lodge/ Luxury Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3. Tsavo West – Mombasa
We’ll be up before the early bird to experience our game viewing drive before sunrise. It’s at this time when nature is at its best, with the predators out for the hunt and the grazers browsing the soft, dewy vegetation. It's also the best time to see natural sun-ray colors dominate the scenic volcanic terrain.
Return to our lodge/camp for breakfast. Thereafter, checkout and proceed for the mid-morning game viewing with a visit to Mzima Springs with more game viewing en-route.
At the Mzima springs, we disembark and marvel at the underground source of sparkling clear waters and the surrounding greenery environment. We’ll view hippos, crocodiles, fish species and unique flocks of native birds.
This exhilarating experience is followed by an exit from the park. We then drive back to Mombasa, partaking of hot lunch en-route at a restaurant in Voi or Engwata.
Arrive in Mombasa late in the afternoon. We’ll drop you back to your hotel, airport, residence or at Mombasa Port.
